Sometimes an inspiration comes our way. No telling when or where it will happen, or who or what causes it. No matter. Inspiration is free, and what we do with it is as personal as the clothes we choose to wear each day.
I love aminals. I feel especially connected to cats. I love their independence, their free spirit, their aloofness.
I grow most of my own vegetables at Austin's unique Sunshine Community Gardens. Here in this peaceful place, (who would know this, when its a constant battle against the ever-present, evil weed) we practice orgainic gardening, trying so hard to fight the ferocious, agressive fire ants with natural products, when really all we want is to douse the whole lot of them with the vilest poisons. But no, here at the gardens, one must repress those urges.
My children are now grown up, the nest empty. With more time on my hands, I wrote and self-published a book.
I take correspondence writing classes, the old style, snail mail. Presently, I'm writing a novel under the auspicious eye of an instructor.
I, or should I say we, will celebrate our 30th anniversary in September.
I am not religious, yet I consider myself spiritual.
Someday, I hope to write a book that sells really well.
